Kos PGCE-St Mary

Alhamdulillah.. i have been here in St Mary Uni. College for almost a week..
Everything seems to be ok except for my id student card...
Here is all about in St. Mary.. hopefully it can be a guide for everyone that will follow our footstep

1. During the time when you fill up the form before your break in summer, make sure you fill in correct way and state that you are a fully healthy girl ---> to make sure you get your id student card within the induction week..
2. Dont forget to obtain good conduct letter from the minister of foreign in wisma putra, Putrajaya.
3. You will be treat differently a bit for this course since we are not going to teach in here. HEnce we will only do PGCE without QTS ( i also not so sure, what it is stand for)..
4. You only need to do M assignments which are writing 2 essay trough out the year and you will visiting school either by a group and after that you will teach a whole class.. This happen only Spring the next coming year..
5. You will get most of your friday day as a free day but you also sometimes need to attend class from 9 - 3 non stop class. but dont worry.. it is not so taugh .. =D
6. You will get your winter (3 weeks ) and Easther ( 2 weeks) break..


I think i already put something that are important for the PGCE's course..


For the last bit is that make sure you mix up with others local student so that you understand their accent and they also understand your accent.. otherwise you need to practice your english everyday with your friends.. that's wat they (Ed and JIm) advised us to do.. speak english everyday...dont stop and try to speak with stranger ( good one, either aunty or....)

InsyaAllah i will write again about the course next time.. maybe when we finished our PGCE course.. by the way you will not have a Posgraduate ceromony that you have when you are in undergraduate........
